Founded with a deep commitment to nurturing young minds through quality education, SSG English School—originally known as Shree Sakchi Gujarati English School—has proudly served the Jamshedpur community for over two decades. Established in the early 2000s by visionary members of the local Gujarati Samaj, the school began as a modest initiative to provide affordable and value-based English medium education to children in and around the Kasidih and Sakchi regions.

The institution was built on the ideals of cultural integrity, discipline, and academic excellence. What started with just a handful of students and basic facilities has grown into a thriving co-educational institution with a strong academic foundation and a vibrant school culture.

In 2025, SSG English School reached a major milestone by securing official affiliation with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. This affiliation to the ICSE board marked a new era of academic rigor, standardization, and national recognition for the school. With this achievement, the school reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a well-rounded and future-ready education, while maintaining its roots in community values and inclusivity.
